with Walter Foster Publications,

Step by Step, 2002 and The Art of Oil Painting 2003.
Hampton’s own personal philosophy
is that painting is a life-long study in which one must constantly
grow as a painter being able to paint anything the eye can see.
Hampton prefers to work from life with little or no photographic
tools. As such, she must work quickly and accurately to complete a
painting within a short amount of time. It is this mastery of paint
coupled with her unfailing eye for natural composition that allows
her to produce such exquisite work.
